Cascais

Cascais is a coastal resort town in Portugal, just west of Lisbon. It's known for its sandy beaches, busy marina and fantastic golf courses. The old town is home to the medieval Our Lady of Light Fort and the Citadel Palace, the former royal retreat. Nearby is the whitewashed Our Lady of the Assumption church, with glazed tile tiles. There is a wide range of quality golf courses that will challenge every aspect of all handicap golfers. Cascais is only 15 minutes from Lisbon and Sintra, so there is plenty of activities for days of not playing golf.
